Never Underestimate A Hungry Cat

I saw this on FB and decided to share it here. My first cat managed to work out how to switch my radio on and he used this as a method of waking me up to feed him. He also liked batting ornaments and books off the bookcase in my bedroom.

Frankie tries the physical approach, punching, nibbling, licking me or sitting on me and howling in my ear.

But this guy is clever:

That is clever!
I wouldn’t be too surprised if the cat managed to find a way to plug the lamp back in ;)
I love that, thank you Wolf. What a clever/annoying cat.
Mine would do that. He's very bright. He's also very smelly atm having gone for a swim in next door's pond.

Found him cleaning himself on my BRAND NEW DELIVERED ONLY 2 HOURS EARLIER SATIN NEGLIGEE!!!

Kitty Gulag for him tomorrow.......
Mine pats my eyelids until I open them :-)
If allowed in the bedroom...he's not!...caspar would chew my hair.
Well...he IS hungry...
Barmaid, Tut! I can't believe you left it lying around for him to lie on knowing him as you do. I curse myself every time I do it, as my cat does the same. Not a negligee in my case though.
satin negligee - won't that be a bit slippery? ;-)

It's our fault. We are mere humans who have lapses in concentration and forget what devils they are and can be.

Maybe the ancient Egyptians were on to something by revering them?
Ladybirder, i had started laying my stuff out on the spare bed to pack. Phone went and I dashed out leaving the door open! Idiot......

Are any of the pond's inhabitants missing?
I hope you picked a suitable hotel for him. :-)
The lack of carcass dumped at my feet would indicate that the pond life is fine.

He has a salubrious hotel. My sis is house sitting but I thought he might wander if I'm not around! He was 13 last Friday. He is the reason I joined AB!

A FB friend in Belfast has a young(ish) ginger called Ted. He was dumped at a kitten. He now lives with three other cats all with totally different personalities.

He goes out and stays out overnight and goes home exhausted. He fell out with his cat friend down the street but still used the cat flap on his friend's shed to go in for a snooze. He is an adorable, loveable rogue. Maybe it is a ginger cat thing.

Frankie will be 14 on Saturday. I haven't bought him a present yet - maybe a woolly jumper for the winter.

One of ours took supper time into her own paws, helped herself to a pouch , perforated the top with her teeth and then sucked out the contents. She was very good at it

roopower - I don't think that Frankie could work out how to get into a sachet. Yet he did grab one out of my hand this morning so who knows?
