Anyone elses pet not interested in these? I put it where my dog usually lays and he has moved to another place, ah well maybe I will use it myself

Tilly just lies on the wooden floor or the ceramic tiles in the kitchen. We bought her a paddling pool last year and all she does is drink out of it. We do put her in it but she jumps straight out.

I think pets understand how to cool themselves, and the input from their owners, although well-meant, is not appreciated.
Dogs and cats don't like things that don't feel natural to them - so although you or I would see a cool mat as a great idea, they simply don't, hence the lack of attention and appreciation!
Never mind - let your dog figure out how to keep cool for himself, he obviously prefers it that way.
