We had four cats, two were sisters Millie and Meg, and when Millie died, Meg sat in a corner, and wouldn't eat for days.
She is great now, a new Siamese to play with.

It is often said that Cats only stay with us because we feed them. Whilst that is basically true if you were to study Human relationships you will find that we do very similar things, for the same reasons and we , probably, do so subconsciously.
