I’m divided on this, should the innocent babies of ISIS brides be allowed to be brought back here? If their mothers are British citizens, or will there be a ‘ loophole’ allowing their mothers to be reunited with those children?
Sounds dodgy to me. Probably would allow a human right to be reunited, and possibly issues taking them in the first place. Children are the responsibility primarily of their parents, some get unlucky. Removal of children from the parents is surely a concern for the country they reside in.
I can't really see this happening. It would be wholly wrong to separate the children from their mothers. What would happen to them if brought back to the UK ? Who would be responsible for them? Smacks a wee bit of fake news.
Have you been reading just the headline and first paragraph, again, Bobbisox:-) (Smiley face, look, not being aggressive) The article says that all children up to the age of 16 may be repatriated. No doubt the mother's 'human rights' will prevent separation from their kids.
I’d imagine these British Mothers in Syria would happily send their children here for selfish reasons only ,then they’d raise a case with Human Rights saying they should be with their kids
Dear Ken , you’re very cheeky ( said tongue in cheek) haha
I skimmed the article and still think from 0-16 is dangerous, more so the older ones , but as an aside, aren’t we supposed to be getting rid of the HR bill we are shackled to?
NO !...we dont need them here, we can get by very well without them thanks..im sure there must be a lot of other bleeding heart liberal countries that would welcome them with open arms and benefits..
We have enough kids already here that need attention. And remember Bobbs, if everyone was news literate ( including the media) there would be no need for debate at all. Not to mention everyone being perfect. :0)
I have no problem with the repatriation of young children who are too young to have been radicalised, but agree with TTT. We shouldn't risk the lives of our servicemen to retrieve them.
Where would it end? The bereft mothers would only go on to have yet more children. Then they would want those bringing back here. It would be a never -ending problem. Leave them where they are.
