For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.sounds like one of the syptoms of dropsy.its basically a bacterial infection. this is more likely to occur when the aquarium water is not changed often enough and levels of ammonia and nitrites get high(normally caused by over feeding(goldfish only need feeding a couple of times a week)).your best bet is to make sure you do monthly 25% water changes and also get an anti bacterial treatment from ur pet shop.hope that helps
