What Type Of Bird?

Be gentle with me, I'm no birdwatcher.

When we go bike riding by fields of crops at the moment, we can hear loads of birds twittering away but can't see them. Occasionally one will appear and fly low before disappearing in the foliage.
The noise is not a regular repeat, but has lots of variation to it.

Any idea what sort of birds they might be?

Can you describe the bird at all? Chances are, they're finches or warblers.

I can't really describe them because we hardly ever see them, and when we do it's just a brown blur flapping, but they stay very low.

What amazed us is the noise. We can't see them, but it sounds like we are surrounded by them and they are so noisy.

I've just YouTubed the sounds of these birds.

I have to give the award to Malagabob. It does indeed sound as if it is just plain old sparrows. Pity really, because corn bunting sounded a bit more fitting and exciting.
