My vet has always stated that you need to leave at least 48 hours between giving a cat a worming treatment and a flea treatment when they're both given in the same way. e.g. I'd normally use 'spot on' treatments (on the backs of their necks) for both worms and fleas with my lot, so I have to space them at least two days apart. (That's also confirmed by the leaflets included with the treatments).

However the vet has given both treatments at once to my cats when 'spot on' flea treatment has been combined with worming tablets, as that is regarded as safe to do.
Wray, arguably the best treatment for your cat is Advocate. It kills everything, no need to get a separate wormer. It is prescription only but you can get a prescription from your vet and buy elsewhere if you wish. In my opinion if a treatment is not on prescription it's not worth buying. Once you get fleas in your home it is a nightmare to get rid of them because there will be eggs laid in crevices and soft furnishings. When they hatch they will jump back onto your cat:-(
Advocate will kill the eggs as well as the fleas.
Advocate Spot On for Cats is a treatment for protecting against fleas, roundworm, lungworm, heartworm and ear mites.
Hope this helps. xx
Bravesto is also one treatment for everything
