Wow. I bet this is the first time in their lives they've felt safe to do that.
Makes me smile, I hope it does you. xx

Very nice photo! I wonder what they might have been saying to each other? [i]"Wouldn't it be lovely if it could always be as quiet this?"[i]
Nicely chilled :-)
...as quiet as this? Dearie me!
How lovely. Thanks for posting. Nice to see uplifting posts like that.

A Cat is a Cat no matter the size. Warmth and comfort come first. Thanks for posting this - it is nice to see someone making the most of the peace and quiet.

This is an old video - have you ever seen a Cat with a blankie?

I'm pleased you're as pleased as I am to see the pics.
You'd think they'd rather lie on the soft grass than a hard road but hey whatever floats their boat. They'd better enjoy it while they can.
Bbinder I hope they're not saying,"Is that a 10 ton truck I can hear coming".
The road is will be warmer than the grass. They'll probably move back onto the grass when they need to cool down.

Beautiful creature Wolf. x
I scrolled down and found some more stunning pictures. There's a much maligned Pangolin - a rescue one.

Whenever I go to my local safari the cars are always held up by the lions lying in the road. I think tarmac is lionnip, the equivalent of catnip. The lions don’t give a hoot and won’t move until they are ready to
This one took an unexpected dip.

Thank you LB and Wolf.
lovely photos
That blankie didn't stand a chance.
oh, Canary !!
poor kittie, it's an affront to them but to have an audience just rubs salt into the wound.
If you like big cats add catnip
