Intact Tom Is Driving My Spayed Cat Mad
2 Answers
I have a male and a female cat, both are 'done'. Now there is an intact tom that has moved into the area. This morning they were both sniffing the bushes in the garden. Now the female is meowing like crazy and rushing up to our male car and yeowling in his face. He's now so upset he's hiding in his 'happy place' in the wardrobe. Can someone suggest what is going on.

Cats, and dogs (and human males) can be capable of sexual arousal and activity after neutering. Its most notable with males of course as they have to still produce an erection but, as you have seen, possible with females too.
I tried Googling to see if I could find an answer for you and there were tons of results that gave info for this problem. It may be worth your while to try.
Since your girl seems to have scared your boy you might want to try a Feliway spray. It is supposed to help.
It the situation continues it may be worth fencing off your garden to keep your cats in and other cats out. It seems extreme but may be a solution.
