unwell goldfish

our fish has white spot and is laying on the bottom of the tank.

We have taken out 50% of water and added new including some white spot treatment, is there anything else we can do or has it gone to far?

If the fish was healthy before it got WS, it's immune system should be good enough to fight it.
The problem is, why did it get WS in the first place as this is a disease usually assosiated with stress.
I have 12 koi in my tank indoors and they all went down with WS due to a very immature filter and moving them from an outside pond to indoors.
I thought at least 6 were going to die but after treating (i used protazin), they've all made a superb recovery. There's no reason why your goldfish shouldn't either.
