Good Morning Early Birds!

Monday. Second attempt to post. The first one disappeared for some reason best known to itself.
It's blowing an 'ooligan here, it kept me awake most of the night. I won't be out for long this morning, just the paper to collect, no essential shoplifting, so out and back a bit rapid methinks.
The wind blew the lid open on one of the bins, I don't think it's scattered any rubbish about, I hope not anyway. I'll find out in daylight.

just awful if i am honest, don't know why a cold or flu can make you feel this bad but they do.

no restful sleep, sweating like the proverbial piggy, blowing a nose that is already sore, no cough which is something i guess, but feel down and out

I know that one well enough emmie!
All I can advise is as much pain relief as you can and as much sleep as you can.

doing the washing now so i can sleep later on if i can't get any more this morning, no plans to do anything today as it is. the weather is dire, blowing a hooligan here too.

how are you today, it's best not to go out or be out for long in this awful weather.

If you can't sleep, lie on the settee or whatever you have and watch something interesting.

I'm OK ta. I'll see what it's like later, then may have to phone my newsagent in Dursley and tell him I won't be in, (he keeps my paper for me) there are a couple of shops closer.

will do that later on. i have a sainsburys delivery this morning and a possible courier delivery so have to be vaguely awake for that, but no more. the headache and the constant streaming nose is a pain

i did meet up with my mate yesterday, which in hindsight wasn't my best move, it was good but i hope i don't give her anything untoward.

i wonder how Minty is coping, whether her covid has gone or still lingering. I don't think i have it but wish i could take the test just to be sure

no, but she has had a bad cold before and we still me up....

good. this thing has knocked me for six.

big problem for me is i am wide awake at all these odd hours.

It's passed me by. As compensation, I've got an infestation of tiny flies! They are a real nuisance.

they are a nuisance. we get them in our local pub, don't know what they are attracted to but in they swarm.
