Thanks Woof - have ordered one. Do you want one OG lol
I've got one for the cats...it depends what I put on it whether they use it or not.
I got one for Sammi because he wolfed his food down...but he'd taken chunks out of it by the 3rd use. I doubt Maxie will do that.
I have heard of something called a Gobble Plate/Bowl. It was for dogs but I had considered getting one for Frankie. He used to eat like a starved Labrador and end up being sick.
Ted would destroy one of those in about 5 mins.
This thread reminds me of a collie we once had who would lie down with a paw on either side of his food bowl and eat really slowly, as if someone had trained him to do it (he was a rescue dog).

As maxie loves rubber then it'll be a goner. I'll give him a wee chance anyway
I think it's silicon, not rubber. So maybe he won't destroy/eat it.
Ginge that is so sweet.
Perhaps he was making sure nobody rescued his dish.
ladybirder....could be. And when we first got him, he would never bark...I spent hours on my hands and knees showing him what to do when the doorbell rang, for example! Ah, happy days.
I hope you were successful or it must have been a bit hard on your knees and throat;-)
