Sea/River Life

I am doing a sea/river life quiz and have only 6 to get, they are
1. Sounds awful, one of these would help.
2. S in front will give that sinking feeling.
3. Owned a port.
4. My bring good luck on land.
5.Could be sitting pretty here.
6. Heartwarming and heroic associations.

Any help would be gratefully received.
