A Grandfather has launched a legal battle after claiming to be the son of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, it has been reported.
Simon Dorante-Day claims to be a secret child of Prince Charles and Camilla and has filed legal papers for the couple to take a DNA test, national newspapers have said.
The 55-year-old was conceived in 1965 – when the Duke and Duchess were 17 and 18 respectively.
Prince Charles and Camilla are believed to have first met at a polo match in 1970. The Mirror reported that Mr Dorante-Day says his adoptive grandparents worked for the royal family in the 1960s, and they are the ones who spilled the beans on his heritage.
Speaking to 7 News in Australia, where he now lives, he said: ‘My grandmother, who had worked for the Queen, told me outright that I was Camilla and Charles' son many times.
‘We owe it to our children for them to have answers.
‘We have some exciting new legal paths that we're looking at to uncover the truth. At the end of the day, I'm just a man who's looking for his biological parents – and every road takes me to Charles and Camilla.’
As part of his evidence, he has claimed that his son bears a similar resemblance to HM The Queen when she was younger.
Currently, Mr Dorante-Day is going through the Australian High Court to fight his case, after three previous attempts proved unsuccessful.
A father-of-nine, he added that the royal family has not responded to any of his attempts to get in touch with them.

This chap has been on about this for years, he says he should be the next king. I saw the photos of his son and the queen which is supposed to prove a relationship. They might look similar if you turn the light out and close your eyes. The royal family have always kept a dignified silence. There is also supposed to be a secret sister of William and Harry ( now that would give Meghan more fodder) and a secret child of Princess Anne's.
