Toby doesn't seem to like using his tray more than once. If he's piddled in the tray, he won't also poop. Or puddle a second time unless it's scooped.
Should I provide a larger tray, or a strategically placed second tray.
I gave my two one each plus a spare. At one time I just had a huge tray between them but it had no roof and Frankie was a digger - the cat litter went everywhere.
Oh...and I've seen thise self cleaning trays. Because of cost I think thats a last resort.
I already spend a fortune on pricey German litter. Maybe he doesn't want to "waste" it...
You could try a second tray. If this works no need for the self cleaning one. If it doesn't work you still have an option. You could also try a piddle pad next to the tray!
No Naomi.
He was rescued by a charity that specialises in rescuing long term strays and sometimes feral. Their policy for many is that they become indoor cats, so they don't risk ending up on the street again. Besides, I wanted to have an indoor cat. He was quite a battered thing when I got him...lord knows what he'd been through.
None whatsoever wolf.
Cleo is being loaned to my daughter...they've got a mouse.
It will save Toby from being pounced on several times a day.
I was told she did that to play...it really doesn't look like play to me.
Lol about being alone wolf.
When I had no furry company last year, it was a relief not to see clumps of fur in every corner. I spent half an hour the other day dismantling my Hoover so I could get to all the packed in fur...
