morning wednesday already, time flies for sure. I hope that you are well and in good spirits,
do you have any plans for today? I haven't as i have caught up with shopping for Christmas particularly. So it's see what the weather does, it was stunning yesterday, cold but a beautiful sunny day. More like that please...

i met up with an old friend for a drink and chat yesterday. He hadn't been well with this lurgy that's doing the rounds, but seemed a lot better thank goodness. I'm also sorting out Christmas cards for a friend, who asked me to get her some off the internet, lovely Quentin Blake cards with some of the money going to Childline. So i should be able to get her the cards when i see her next week. I just hope she likes them, as they are wonderfully drawn cartoons of Christmas.

Hey Emmie that sounds like a good meet up with your friend I am glad he’s better. My day has been good as it’s 9:57 P.M. here. Had a nice lunch with Mom, great World History 1 reading session with Mom, great chat with my neighbors Daniel and Kate and great walk where I looked around in a liquor store, great dinner brought home by my dad and then have just chilled.

Good to hear and yeah it’s been a good day.

we all need days like that, ones that you enjoy and the weather is fine. We are firmly in autumn/winter mode, and it's been quite changeable but yesterday was simply beautiful, crisp air, sunny though not warm.

Yeah we’re getting some of that nice autumn feel out here in California as well.

does it get cold though?

It gets cooler than in Summer and Spring but not crazy cold.

whereas we get quite cold weather, dependent of where one is in the UK. Scotland being most northerly can get bad snow falls, wet and grey, freezing too.

Yeah I can imagine that being the case I have heard it gets quite cold over there.

Minty who lives in Scotland says they have had temperature minus 10 and worse, icicles hanging off the windows, roof, and snowed in for days.

OMG that’s outrageously freezing!!

it is cold that's for sure, we do get it too down south but largely in small doses, if it snows it doesn't stay for long, often turning to slush.

Ok well it was good to chat with you again Emmie I am going to have some tea that my mom is making to help us both sleep and then get ready for bed because I have class tomorrow.

most kids love the snow when it comes, though i don't care for it much, too slippery underfoot, i am frightened of falling and breaking something.

Thanks Emmie have a good day and yeah kids do love playing in the snow I did when I would vacation with my family in snowy places like up in Big Bear, a mountainous region of California and New York.
