Hi i have a 7 year old cat female and got her from a private home when she was 1 year old. We were told she had 3 kittens. She seems healthy, but recently when we are in bed and my husband is asleep i can here her in the hallway crying for a few mins. We love her very much but she seems scared and defensive for some reason. I play with her alot and she is an indoor cat but the house we got her from she was going outside. She is neutered now. She also tries to bite us. She is our only cat.

You've had her 6 years so it's unlikely she is still affected by her previous life. Why is she in the hallway - does she have access to the rest of the house including your bedroom?
Maybe try this cat-calming scent (Feliway?).
Get her checked over at the vets.

(I know nothing about cats btw!)
I'd take her to the vets.
One thing to have checked is her hearing. Deaf cats can be noisy, and become disoriented. Though she's still young it might be an explanation for her behaviour. Interesting that it only happens at night.
Cleoval, in another thread you posted recently you were asking about packing-boxes because you are going to be moving. Perhaps the cat is upset about all the activity engaged in the process of moving.
