Venus is very similar to Earth in Size and construct but that's where the similarity ends. It has suffered a runaway greenhouse effect and rains sulphuric acid, it's mean surface temperature is hotter than Mercury despite being further from the sun. It's Day is longer than it's year, the sun, if you could see it, rises in the West. The theory is that it is in fact upside down as the result of a collision. If you saw a sunrise on Venus it would be 117 Earth days until Sunset.

Yes I knew some of those facts. I was into Astronomy in a big way when I was a kid.
