This Really Made Me Smile!

Yesterday I decided to try and weed the end of our driveway so I was kneeling down on a cushion, with a big tray nxt to me to put the weeds in. I was right at the end, almost on the pavement, when I saw 2 women approaching from the left, walking a gorgeous puppy on a long lead. As they got level with me the puppy looked at me then ran over & leapt on my lap! The immediately called her(turns out it was a girl) to get off but I laughed & said she was ok. The puppy then proceeded to give me a wash, licking my arms & face like mad. I couldn’t help but laugh, & even the 2 women started laughing, saying she never does this. Then the puppy got down and decided to get in the tray of weeds and lie down, quite happily just laying there.
In the end they had to lift her out and carried on with their walk, otherwise I think she’d have stayed there for a bit, but it just really made me smile that something so simple as that really cheered me up.

Ahh thanks guys, I’m still strapped up & dosed up with pain killers but was going mad indoors so dragged myself outside and carefully lowered myself down onto a cushion to do some weeding(and a subsequent wash lol!)

Puppies are so innocent and loving and they have such an enthusiasm for life. I would be cheered up by this as well. A happy puppy usually grows into a happy adult.

It was a tiny little thing, probably smaller than my cats, didn’t weigh a thing. But so so cute.

I think you need to sit back and evaluate your situation!
What is the point of ranting about the consultant not getting back to you if you ignore advise and do housework and garden work?

Smow I know you're not going to like what I'm going to say but I can promise you I'm not trying to catch you out just perhaps to think about what you share with us. Wednesday you were in awful pain, could hardly move and in theory in a back brace. 48 hours later you're out weeding a drive on your hands and knees. Can you not see that looks odd?

If any of you think I am making anything up then that makes me very sad. Stupidly or not, I was just getting so fed up indoors, so I decided(wrongly) to do a little weeding. Took me ages to carefully lower myself down onto a cushion, and then I did about 10 mins and realised I was being very silly, so my neighbour,who happened to be in his driveway too as he was washing his car, came across & helped me up.
But I accept your comments.x
