I Think I've Found P Ps True...

A question for the ladies or doctors. I am extremely sore down below, infact its swollen, and sore when I pee, and is itchy occassionally. Its not thrush, as there is no discharge, and I have taken diffulcan and it hasn't worked, its not a STI as I am happily married and have only had my hubby as a partner, and we are both in a happy marriage, plus we use condoms for pregnancy protection reasons.
I can't get a doctors appointment until after xmas, but was wondering if anyone might have any idea what it can be, as I have only ever heard of thrush down below, and if there is anything to ease it until I get diagnosed.
Thanks

If you can't get to the docs, you might try a canestan combi pack from the pharmacy, it contains a pessary and some cream, use both, when the pessary melts, it feels like scouring powder, but it does work. The cream is very soothing
Sorry to add that you should avoid sex, even protected, while you are clearing it up, It won't do you poor old tender bits any good and you risk giving it to your partner, he will keep the fungus around on his skin and then risks passing it back to you.
Its also worth chugging the old cranberry to avoid getting cystitis on top, which tended to happen to me. Also all the usual stuff about avoiding hot baths, scented soaps and gels, any exotic lotions and potions you might use.
Usual caveats apply, don't use the medicine if you are allergic to any of its components, if it doesn't clear up see a doc pronto, if it gets worse phone NHS direct (ha) or take your self to the emergency room.
Doesn't it ALWAYS happen at Christmas??
