morning, Friday already the end of the working week for some. I hope that you are all in good health and that your day is a pleasant one. Do you have any plans for today?

I have a phone call from the GP this morning, an annual review apparently, at least i can discuss with him about certain issues like the ultrasound on my liver i had recently and tell him the news about the knee op.
I was due to meet a friend for coffee, but she has had to cancel - no matter, i have a few things i need to do today instead.

todays forecast for the capital is a lowly 17c with rain predicted,

no early birds this morning, still asleep no doubt, i could do with some myself i confess. But coffee on the go will keep me awake for now.

How did the phone call about your knee op go?

half an hour which was good, lots of info, but mostly covered by the long e mail i received from the secretary to Mr Patel. I managed to go out and see some friends later on and have lunch in the local.

Hope you feel less worried now it will make a huge difference to your quality of life

still scared of the op and the after effects, but that's for then.
i have to go to hospital on the 7th october to have bloods, ecg, and various tests done, not worried about those its just getting there for 10.15am,

I understand how you feel I was the same before my op but it will be worth it long term, hope it all goes well for you.

Morning all, dawn just beginning to emerge here...we're in for a wet day starting around 10-11...... Glad you got things straighter about this Op on your knee. It's an investment as such, some short term discomfort - there shouldn't be pain just inconvenience - and then you get the benefit of mobility back again.

Have they bottomed out your liver yet? It's probably over in that pub you use!
