I used to be on here night and day 20 years ago made friends and a couple of enemies (rip Whiffey I always admired you secretly)

I only pop on occasionally now to type nonsense but I still observe that the majority of you are lovely, genuine people

Treasure this site because in these tough times it's a nice little warm glow to have and it brought me happiness for many years

Try not to squabble because we only get to play in the sand pit for so long plus only plastic buckets are indestructible x

Surely you're still new here though, aren't you, Bob? You're always telling us so, anyway!

;-)
I thin that the positives about AB outweigh the negatives most of the time.
That's lovely, Bob. I wouldn't mind having you around a bit more these days...on AB that is. I think Dave would be miffed if you suddenly appeared in the kitchen. x
I quite agree wolf, there's loads of good stuff around, I love the site.
Wise words, mate.
Woooohoooo! Let's get the band back together. :-)
I hope you're not talking about me. I am rude and disdainful and make a point of never posting on your threads. I'm only breaking the habit of a lifetime because I'm waiting for the oven to warm up.
Just been doing my nosey bob, and having a skip through some of your threads from 16yrs ago. Characters were ten a penny then by the looks of it !! Sadly though AB is a bit on the short side of these people now, and it sadly reflects on the whole site.
Pop in bob as often as you like, and post as much nonsense as you want.

Take care, and stay safe mate ; ))
If you can't find anything to interest you on AB these days, Bob, here's a seasonal project for you to have a go at:

Thank you for this post. :)
Now trying to work out if it's quicker for me to drive to Cork for an orange bucket or spend hours carving a pumpkin for the display on the bridge.
Have a (((hug))) Bob...a lovely post.
It really is my lifeline
Glad to be in this sandpit with everyone too! Nice post :)
Aww, lovely post Bob. Is the turkey now kept indoors because of bird flu? I hope so.
Lovely thoughts. I think AB has possibly helped many people in times of need. Just knowing that they can count on someone being around to listen and offer advice at times of distress
Bob, you sound strangely emotional. Your ‘bucket’ hasn’t sprung a leak, has it? I do hope you’re keeping well. X
a hole in the bucket, dear Liza??
I’m talking about a metaphorical bucket. I hope Bob isn’t unwell.
Down, 1ozzy, down boy!

Know your place! :-)
