What a palaver??? We ended up putting Zingy, Amber, Boo and Smudge into a hat and my ex-husbands, new partner chose from the selection after we'd eaten Christmas lunch. She chose Amber.
I let her reach into the hat because she hadn't made one of the choices, but also to give the girls someone to blame if they didn't like her choice.
I'd make the perfect evil step mother. :-)
I bet nobody is doing any work in your house and that the kitten has completely taken over the No 1 admiration spot. Arn't they adorable at that stage and isn't it a pity they have to grow up?

Wish I had used that option when we named our little kitten - well she isnt little anymore. I foolishly allowed my DD who was 4 at the time to name her - she called her Tessa! Now its not that I dont like the name Tessa but we were playing with names like Willow, Jasmine, Gypsy etc. You know something with a bit of mystery about it. So 2 ton Tess it was!
