Within half an hour, he became very ill and she rushed him to the vets. They administered an emetic and kept him in overnight. When she brought him home, she had to put activated charcoal in his food to prevent the toxins from doing any more damage.
This happened to me once when my German Shepherd ate a whole bar of Green and Black's 85% chocolate. That was stolen too!
