Paul O'grady, Cause Of Death.

For those interested, it has been released that Paul died from sudden heart arrhythmia (known as Sudden Adult Death Syndrome) brought on by heart disease, so no real surprises, thank goodness.

Not for the first time I'm confused.

What 'surprises' would have made the outcome better or worse?

it's rare that arrythmia triggers death, usually a stroke and, of course, there's a risk of death in that.

What a lovely way to go though, in his sleep next to the man he loves.
Wish he could have had a few more years though.

My father died from something similar. He had the same ischemic heart disease as Paul had and there is no cure. There are some lifestyle changes you can make but no cure. Father never told any of us that he had it and had only just been in the house for a cup of tea and piece of cake then dropped dead in the garden, somewhere he loved.

Its awful for his partner and family, but what a good way to go.

I watched him last night in the new series. It made me tearful.
