Rabbit poo

My rabbits poo is soft and sticking to her fur. Her round poos are unnaffected. Here diet has not been changed, but different hay is given depending on the pet shop supply - could this affect her poo. She (Jet) is seven. This problem has just occured.

Hi there do you know rabbits will use a litter tray so id try that if i were you then it will all be in the same place and not all over your rabbits sleeping and playing area

or try changing the food there are special pellets made just for rabbits that have everything in they need i cant remember what its called but your local pet store will tell you

Rabbits normally have two kinds of droppings, the normal round ones and a night time one called cecotrope. are you sure you havent seen it before? they look like tightly packed grapes and can be smellier. rabbits normally eat these to get nutriants they find hard to digest. its very normal for this king to stick to the rabbit, i had a long haired one and it was a nightmare.

litter training is very easy, put some litter in the tray stick some paper to sawdust thats been weed on in the tray and put it in the corner the rabbit normally uses. if its a corner that you would prefer him not to use once he starts using the litter tray (normally right away) you can normally move it but would have to disinfect the cage so the smell of amonia isnt in the corner the rabit normally uses.
