Tonight I managed to get a picture (through the window) of my "pet" fox. It's only a youngster but calls regularly for a snack. I have occasionally caught a glimpse of an adult (Mum or Dad), it's huge, but rarely calls, I only see it in passing.

It' beautiful Canary. Lucky you to get so close to it (even through the window) that you got a pic, they are so flighty
Those steely eyes will do well when it's looking for some lambs to kill
Beautiful creature :)
I think I've only ever had a fleeting glimpse of a fox...many years ago when we lived in Bedfordshire near the river Ouse.
My daughter had one outside her front door in London not long ago.
They are gorgeous animals. My brother had visiting foxes. I hope it remains wary of humans, it might live longer.
Do foxes kill birds?

Only chickens
My neighbour found what she thought were bird feathers in her garden and blamed it on the local fox.
I wondered why she thought it was a fox and not a cat.

About 30 years ago I came home from work one day and caught this chap sunbathing in my back garden. I think he must be an ancestor of my current visitor, I can see a family likeness :-)

This was taken from a bedroom window - somewhere I've got a video clip of this chap too.
They`ll kill anything. My friend's mum forgot to lock her ducks in the barn one night and a fox bit the heads of every one of them. They don't just kill chickens. They kill ducks, geese, cats, lambs and anything they can get. The town ones might be scavengers (although I have seen them go for cats) but they are not sweet little animals. Unless you don't care about chickens etc.
Another young fox - magnificent full brush. Afternoon siesta?
I have one I feed every night, its been coming for nearly 2 years, my old fox was a visitor for about 4 years
My old fox, I think the new one is a grandchild as she had two litters.

Don't know if this link will work, but it's enough to put me off meeting up with a fox.

Wow Barsel, that really is terrifying. It was rabid though which makes a difference.
She was very photogenic, its almost like she knew I was taking her picture.
