Had dreadful nights sleep and was about to post on here earlier when I finally dozed off for an hour lol. Woke up and still dark/ grey but hey ho. Nothing major planned for today, just the proverbial 'pottering' about doing odd bits n pieces. How about you lot?? X

Morning Smow and all to follow. Grey and miserable here too. I am also a member of the insomnia club so I am hoping to have a  nap later, other than that nothing planned. Have a happy day everyone

Morning ladies and to anyone else who pops in.

Bits of blue are threatening to break through, nearly enough to make a sailor's suit!

Lazy afternoon is beckoning, a bit of knitting and finding something to watch

Xx

Good Morning from me...I too did not sleep very well...trying to drift off and I started to get a fidgety leg and foot. It's grey miserable here...I may try to get some reading done.

Have a good day all.

Good morning (just).  Seems like I am the only one that had a good nights sleep.  Didn't stir till 6.30 when my bladder woke me, unusual as it normally has me up at least once and often don't get back to sleep.

At the moment we have the en suite extractor fan in pieces, looks like more expense for a new one and, of course they do not make this model number any more.

good day all, not joined in for a while, still typing one handed after the broken shoulder, so capitals have gone out of the window as that requires two hands. still unable to do most things, tho' i have mastered getting underwear up and down, and washing as best as i can.
a friend is bringing me a plate of food, which with my very small appetite does me for two days. ditto with the sunday roast i have delivered today, so that's 4 good meals a week.
fracture clinic on tuesday for another xray.
the bruising is really scary, it's now from the back of my shoulder right down to the middle of my fingers.
really stupid things catch me out - breaking a pill in half, lids and bottle tops, can't knit/sew/crochet or do any of my crafty bits, so the days are very long.
didn't really mean to moan and whinge :(
we've had a few dull but dry days, si hoping someone will give my grass a last cut before the winter.
brilliant news - i read they have made a new series of ludwig, looking forward to that.
wishing you all a good day :)

Hello all, mizzly here also. Sunday is my day for pottering about and catching up on all those fiddly jobs you "leave till later".

Still getting to grips with my new iphone. I ended up buying a Samsung as many people on here recommended it. Can't get used to all the information it bombards me with every time I switch it on!! Still I am getting there slowly but surely. I suppose it takes longer to get the hang of things the older you get.

Anyone read any good books recently? I don't seem to have read a good book for a long while. I enjoy detective/thriller types.
