my chins teeth

my chinchilla had his back teeth done 5 days ago and he is still dribbling the vet told me to wait and let his mouth settle but it horrible seeing him like this has any one else had there chins teeth done and is this dribbling normal ,am i being to paranoid please put my mind at rest

We had that with one of ours. She had her teeth done at the vet and we thought that would be that. When it continued we tracked down a vet who had experience of chinchillas. Unfortunately it was too late by that time and she had developed an infection. Could be worth a second opinion from another vet.

thank you desertrat i did take him back and another vet gave me some anti inflamatry drops to help him along if there is still no improvement next week they will have him back and look at his mouth again
