My dogs got sick after eating ol roy. One died and one was in the hospital for 5 days, she getting better now. The vet can't tell me what it was. The only thing in common was the food. I would like to know if anyone else has had a problem with ol roy crunchy bones dry dogfood. I live in the northeast.

There were several dogs died in USA from eating something like this. I will try my other sites and find the article, then post it here.

This site has some info (about half way down, after 9 Lives cat food bit)

Diamond Pet Foods were recalled because of problems.

Diamond Pet Foods were responsible for dogs being very ill and even dying. Symptoms were sluggishness or lethargy, combined with a reluctance to eat, yellowish tint to the eyes or gums, and severe bloody diarrhea.

I believe that Diamond is the name used in the USA, Walmart is one of the companies that uses them for their own brand food.
