smudge- have read through all the answers scarlett received and noticed he/she hasn't replied to any of them, do you think they're ok, i must admit i'm a bit worried as to what's happening there, i hope he/she sees these posts and replies.

Unfortunately allotment, some AB'ers dont always reply to posts, which can be quite frustrating, as you don't know whether your answer has been read, useful, or as you say wonder whether they're ok.

I shall pop back to that thread now & take a look.

I've just left a short message on Scarlett's thread, asking if she's manged to speak to her Dad yet.

She could very well be ill, etc., but at least she'll get a chance to read it at some point & realise how many caring people there are on AB.

put in - 'cruelty to animals'

and the you'll see why everyone has been so worried!

smudge, how do you that ? it makes it so much easier to find threads the way you put here but how do you connect it to the thread ? i was amazed the first time i saw it and have noticed you do it a lot, please enlighten me! thanks.

Hi allotment - sorry I'm late in answering, busy bee!

Well here goes:

• Go to the address bar at the top of the page


• Right click (which highlights it)


• Press copy


• Go to the page you want it to appear on


• Right click again


• Press paste


• Press returrn

If you want to write your own text over the link

• Drag the mouse over the text to highlight it


• Then type over it - without any spaces, although you can put hyphens inbetween if you wish


• Press return


• Once you've done that, you can go back & edit the link, putting in spaces, etc.

SMUDGE!!!- PLEASE DISREGARD THAT LAST LETTER! it was my hubby's idea of a joke, he saw me trying to do what you'd explained and kept taking the mickey! didn't know he'd put it on till i checked today,don't worry, he's had a right telling off! and strict instructions NOT to do it again.sorry about it.
