ive consulted my sums book and ive realized that america produce 13 million tons of cfcs or . chloroflourocarbons each year which means that the hole in the ozone layer will get bigger by 13000000 tons a year . the bit im stuck on is..... is a big hole heavier than a small hole

dilf, you are obviously wrong on all counts.

The US produces 13 million tonnes of cellulite each year. Since this is heavier than even a large hole, it sits just below the (now depleted) ozone layer, absorbing incoming solar radiation, and increasing the Earth's albedo, and, as a result, lowering Earth's net temperature.

Hence, by reducing the insidious transfer of energy between commie-loving countries by means of subversive oceanic undercurrents, and replacing it with the warmer, loving glow of billions of internal combustion engines, we can, together, and with the love of god, restore this temperature imbalance, and become one, enormous, gigantic hole.

lol
What the hell was I on about last night???
im no scientist, but on a common sense thing i should imagine anything that is a hole has something missing, so the more thats missing the lighter it must be...unless im just thick!
Dilf your question contains an assumption which makes all your ideas wrong, they don't produce cfc's and release them to the atmosphere (even the US is not that daft) they are all trapped inside fridges - freezers - aircon units etc... just waiting so that later generations can release them and therefore delay the effects of todays policies to a time when the politicians who allowed it will not be in a postion to worry about it.
