I have three orchid lillies and one has roots protruding out of the bottom of the pot. Is this ok or do I need to re-pot? Also what do I clean the leaves with, is water ok? One more thing, what about stems that have flowered and are now redundant.

I'm not sure of the species of this rather ambigous common name ? there is also an aquatic/aquarium plant of this name. But yes if the roots are growing out of the bottom of the pot, i would carefully re pot in a suitable larger pot, I think the longer you leave it the more chance you have of damaging the roots.

Leaf cleaning, tap water may leave a white deposit on the leaves, theifore rain water would be best, its also possible to use milk or special cleaning sprays, but check its okay for your plant, on the manufacturers instructions first..
