Owning a dog

is it illegal to own a rotweiler dog? if not what dogs are illegal to own?

I don't t think so.One or two rotties in my local park.Lovely dogs if handled correctly.

Where are you hansonje. It's certainly not illegal to own Rotweillers in the UK - lovely dogs. I don't think it's illegal to own any dogs in the UK. I stand to be corrected on this.

My neighbour has four rotties, she shows them, as gentle as kittens.

It is not illegal to own a rot around where i live my uncle has one and he has four rot and pit mixed pups.it is the law to put them down if they bite or attack someone though. where do you live?

there are 4 dogs illegal in the uk as listed in the dangerous dogs act 1991 they are

Pitt Bull,

Japanese Tosa,

Dogo Argentino,

Fila Brasilero.

that answers your question if your in the uk but If your not you may need to look up the legislation in your country

We've always had rotties they are super dogs and great with the kids,got two at the moment and never had a bad one!
