cats just p****d on my bed just as it is bed time

I cant believe it my female cat who has acted up all day, shying away and quite soletry....has just peed...i mean not a little one all over my bed...everything needs washing.....she is not spade but not in heat either.....y at night do they do these things!!!! i have no bedding now thanks ...but there must be something up... she has eaten loads, done her normal day thing....she is now band from the bed rooms....

Hi josaphine32, our cat wees on our bed whenever we leave the bedroom door open, or the spare beds, when those doors are open. Her litter tray is cleaned out daily (she hasn't got a clue how much catsan costs!!!) and she has a lovely garden, which she frequents and sprays....

i've read this site and it's got loads of info on cat toilet habits and it may be of use....

ps.if you can get the bedding in the washing machine, do so now and just hang it over a door, or near a radiator, or it's down the launderette tomorrow to use their tumble dryers... and off to the cat psychologists!!!

It is quite common for female cats to get cystitis. If she has been acting odd all day and isn't herself it might be worth taking her down to the vets to get her checked over.

The only time I have had problems with my female cat with wetting in the wrong place is when she has had cystitis.
