Of course they can!
If they get the right grade of nectar fuel, well yes they fly pretty well.
No they can't. You have to launch them using catapults.
Ask a silly question you get silly answers!

Have a look at this. Apparently, mathematically, thay shouldn't be able to....

Apparently that's changed now Whickerman. With more research they've discovered that the bee's create a vortex with their wing flaps, which provides the extra lift needed for them to fly.

Have you never heard of 'The Flight of the Bumblebee'?


If so, what did you think it was, a special offer from BEA?
