Oilseed Rape

This is the only thing I get hayfever from, and by now it is usually growing in the fields. However, I haven't seen any this year. Has the EU subsidy been stopped, or is it all just late 'cos of the cold spring? I know it usually flowers mid April to end of May (which is when it affects me), so it should be evident in the fields by now.

Whereabouts are you? Early April is barely Springtime in the UK. .temp forecast to fall to zero tonight......plenty of time yet for it to come into flower and cause the usual mayhem.
Stock up on the anti-histamine tablets!

In Northants Ian. Its just I'm sure I can usually see which fields are going have it by now.
