What If The Labour Party Got Rid Of...

We have a pair of blackbirds nesting in our garden and have had nests for many years.I enjoy watching them build their nests(as you do) but lately have seen some very odd goings on. We have put bark down on our odd shaped garden and we have a dog, so we sometimes miss the odd poo when clearing up after her.I swear this is not a wind-up, but i have seen the male come out of the tree where the nest is and pick up a piece of poo and fly off with it. What on earth is he doing! I am not mistaken as I have seen him do it many times now and we saw a bit that he dropped on the shed roof. You should see him trying to take off with the extra weight! so he must have some purpose in mind.
any ideas?

I like Robinia's ansswer--it made me laugh and think what would happen if the blackbird "dropped one" on someone. Imagine what they would think if a dog poo landed on them from a bird! Unfortunately, said bird takes off in a different direction to the "neighbour for hell" who we all wish would get the "golden shot".
