not so much a question more of a rant.now call me stupid but i am angerd and upset at those beautiful wolves being shot.don't these people know that they were fighting to see who would be strong enough to become the new leader.in the wild it can take weeks of fighting to sort out new leadership.for so called experts i think they need to sit down with disney and discuss the circle of life.anybody else as agrieved as me?

Shot where? Got a link?
Totally,,the problems with 'experts' is that they are foolishly led to believe that they know everything, when in fact they know no more than anyone else,i hate these people!!!
Hi SCHUMI, i'd like to see the link also, thanks.

i haven't got a link sorry i wouldn't know how to put one on am pretty new to this but it has been on the news the last few days and i am just outraged everytime i think about it.there is ,and i use the term loosely, a conservation park up here in scotland that had wolves.the leader of the pack died and the remaining wolves became aggressive to sort the pecking order out.the keepers alleged experts decided they were too vicious and put them all down.
It's called the Alladale Estate. A while back I was planning on going out there to volunteer with the scheme but after I'd heard about the cull I scrapped the idea in favour of schemes where the motives were more apparent. There was indeed a cull but I've found it very hard to get a full story. I'm still trying so I'll let you know if I find any proper justification for it. It struck me as odd that the cull has had little mention in the news.

On the other hand it may have been a 'last resort' and something could have genuinely 'necessary' but, as I don't believe in euthanasia under any circumstance I can't say I'm happy either way.
