My daughter and family live in Germany, I go out to visit fairly often. I have a two year old cavalier king charles, and would like to take her with me. I fly out mostly BA, and it is only a short flight. Has anyone any experience themselves as to how and where I begin to find out what to do, and what is involved. I will be most grateful for any advice.

The most important thing is to get started on her rabies jabs as soon as possible, and also before returning make sure you have the flea/tick treatment from a vet in the previous 48 hours.

Check with your airline, as some don't take pets, and some only take them as baggage (ie not in the cabin).
