What is the name of a drink that has lizards inside it and what country does it come from.

I was thinking it might be from Mexico.

Tequila has a live worm in the bottle....
someone also brought that wormy drink for me from mexico. i will not drink it though. never seen that lizard one.

I found a bottle in a press in my friends house. we cant remember were it came form or the name.It was throwin out.It
might have been a novelty.there were 2 geckos in it.
Tequilla is distilled from the sap of a variety of agave, a cactus-like plant. ... the worm in it was/is there to prove that there is sufficient alcohol in the drink to preserve it! ...
Damn ... i had a bottle of this ...with 2 lizards inside..they had been gutted and you ate them afterwards ...tasted like wet cardboard ... now if i can remember what it was called...was a gift from abroad ... greece maybe

Yes!! Thats the drink.
It came back from a friends holiday in thiland as a strange present.

the lizards were gutted.

Just wondering Sphinx_Svens did you eat the lizzards??
