Making a tiger happy?

If you got a vast amount of catnip, would it work on tigers the same way it works on domestic cats? I've just been watching my two moggies having a great time with their drug of choice and love the idea of tigers acting the same way.

I have been told that it works on lions but not sure about tigers.....what exactly hapens with catnip cos we were going to get some for our 8 month old kitten?!

Saxy, I might just do that. If you hear of some mad women trying to get in amongst the tigers at Edinburgh Zoo , clutching a big bag of catnip - that'll be me!

Pagey. our two just love rolling in the stuff. Afterwards they get all frisky and playful. Kittens are like that anyway so don't know if you'd notice much difference! Some of the bigger pet shops sell catnip bubbles - your little one might have great fun chasing them about.
