Do you feed her dry food besides milk?
If she is an indoor cat (the majority of the time) She will need a high protein kitty food. Otherwise it is extremely common for indoor cats to become unhealthy from great obesity issues. :) If you get her the high protein food you should give her as much as she wants to eat...oh, and by mommy cat do you mean she is now a mommy, or is she going to have kittens? Cause that changes the answer a bit too! :)

yea she is already a mommy cat she had 5 babies on june 24 and she only has 3 nipples left with milk in them n I am starting to worry because all the babies do is cry like they dont get enough to eat.
The less that the kittens drink the less milk she will produce. You can supplement them with some kitten milk powder from the vet and feed your Mum cat a kitten food as it will have lots of calories for her. I would see if you can't make her allow the kittens to nurse more frequently as it may stimulate more milk.

thank you I am going to try that but the babies eat every half an hour the only time the mom comes out of the box is to go potty I have her food right next to her bed.
sounds like a trip to vet is needed, or would that be too stressful. Maybe phone the surgery (quick, befroe he shuts for the weekend)

thank you I have already made an appiontment with the vet for monday.
She could have mastitis, are the nipples red and sore looking and dried up? The vet will soon tell you.
