Bees

I found two Bumble Bees dead on a geranium leaf in the garden. It looked like a suicide pact. Any ideas why they would have both been dead?

Insecticide.

Both are good suggestions, however bees do have some predators, the most prominent being wasps. With two dead bees in the same location, as you have found, is usually an indication of wasp predation. At least in my experience in bee keeping...

Well it wasn't cold. I haven't used any pesticides. You sometimes find the odd dead bee but it was strange finding them side by side.
