We have a large Budlia (is that how it's spelt?) bush and it poured down today, and I was wondering where do the butterflies go when it rains?

At night or during bad weather, butterflies will usually hang from the undersides of leaves, or crawl into crevices between rocks or other objects, and sleep.


I have butterflies hibernate in my bedroom every winter. They cling to the back of my wardrobe.
