Dog behaving badly?
4 Answers
Have just come accross a fantastic way to stop doggie behaving badly whilst on a lead. I was told to fill a small squirty bottle with plain tap water and when the dog pulls on the lead or starts going where he shouldn't etc, squirt the water either in front of them or on them if necessary, perfectly harmless but it makes them jump and stops them instantly, my dog is fantastic now, I only have to show him the water God and he is putty in my hands!

I will say this though some people on this sight won't like this method as it's not what they call positive reinforcement training, I'm glad that it works for you as I know that pos reinforcement does not always work with a lot of dogs but as with any training of this type be very careful you can easily get the wrong outcome if you do something wrong. Good luck with the training :-)
