Right, this is boy trouble. Im 14 ( but please dont start on about teen angst and the holidays being here) :) and I'm going out with a lad i really like.
The trouble is, there was another boy that i like (let's call him B because this might get confusing), and i told him ages ago that i liked him, but now i'm going out with this lad i like and who likes me back, and B's mate is trying to get me to dump my boyfriend to go out with B. We've just had a big argument on msn, with the friend going on about me hurting B's feelings and that i should dump my bf to go out with B.
My problem is that i know i might have hurt B, but i told him ages ago that i liked him and he did nothing, and now i dont know whether i should feel bad (which i do) becuase i hurt B's feelings, or whether i've got no real reason to feel this bad about not wanting to go out with B.
I'm not the type of person to mess people's feeling about, and i feel that i didn't, but at the same time i feel bad.
What do you think? I'm sorry if that didn't make sense or it sounds completely stupid, but i feel so bad i need to know what others think.

Do you think that perhaps B wasnt sure how he felt about you when you told him you liked him, and now he knows that you are seeing someone else and he has got a bit jealous and decided that now he knows what he wants?
It seems to me that the guy your seeing now sounds great, you both like each other, and there are no probs there.
Ignore B's friend, if B has something to say he should be saying it himself, not get his mate to do it, and B, for whatever reason, didnt do anything when you told him you liked him, so he cant complain that you are now seeing someone else. B missed his chance, simple as! Dont let anyone make you feel guilty for moving on!
The way I see it, you have been completely honest, you havent messed anyone about, and your happy with your boyf. If B is sulking, tough! All you can do is be honest and tell him that you moved on because he didnt get his act together when you told him you liked him.
It doesnt sound stupid, dont apologise for yourself! Its not your problem that B is sulking and cant even talk to you about it himself and getting his mate to do it!
Cheer up, and enoy being with your boyf! x

I guess you may have hurt his feelings...The feeling of pride, sounds like he's upset because he expected you to chase him and you found a nice lad instead. I think if you ditched A and went with B,then it wouldn't last long,Bs ego will have been appeased and I think that's all he's bothered about. Why risk hurting A when your happy with him? At the end it'll be you who gets hurt, stay with A
