I have a 1 yr old un-nueterered female tabby, in the next few weeks i am moving from a 2nd floor flat to a house and she will be able to go outside for toilet and play etc... I am not sure when it is possible for them to be fertile and become pregnant, i always thought it was in Spring, is there any other time? Could she become pregnant around this time?... I should mention that i don't want her to become pregnant so if she can i would like to keep her in for a bit or something.

Thanks

Seems a short visit to the Vet the best thing for her..........never again the worry of pregnancy. [edit by ABED]<G>

There was no need to be sarcastic!.. i don't want her nueterd as i would like her to have one litter of kittens maybe next year and do that after.... I did used to work in a vets and aide in nuetering of cats and dogs.
Sorry you chose to take my answer as sarcasm, it was merely a little gentle joshing............. Maybe you could have said that you didn't want her neutered in your first post....it is easy to misundersand if you don't give all the facts..

BTW, if you worked in a vets practice I would have though you would have known the answer to that kind question. ..........
if you worked in the vets maybe you could give me a bit of advice on the question i asked

Commoner, i forgot the seasons as it was 5/6 years ago that i left there.

Megsy, what was your question?

I got a kitten in January who was born in November 2005. And her mother also had litters in March & July 2005!
