Do slugs have any redeeming features? What uses do they have- if any?

I think the black ones look good - a very nice shiny (and very black) black.

I personally think they'd look better wearing Burberry caps and hoodies (see post below....lol)

Whilst putting some rubbish out last night wearing only his socks.....my son trod on a slug.... result.... son on verge of vomiting.....daughter and I nearly wet ourselves.....and the socks are still in the garden!

A mate of mine chewed on a slug he picked of his kitchen floor when he thought he dropped a piece of mushroom from his ****** takeaway, he only noticed the difference because it was cold.

Hi Boo. Now for a bit of a redeeming salvation for the humble slug. Did you know that the sea-slug is one of the most graceful and beautiful animals in the world?
Our garden variety slug is a great source of food for many birds. It is also a perfect intermediate host for parasitic worms such as round worm.

While this does not benefit the human race much, we are only one of the millions of different animal which inhabit this planet.

Trod on a giant slug with my bare foot only the other evening outside my back door whilst calling the cat in......................... not a very pleasant situation.!!!! Don't suppose the slug was overjoyed either!!!!
