Can somebody please identify this spider for me?

The photo is of the underside of the spider, I wasn't gonna get close enough for a 'top shot'.

Hi Naz There are loads of these garden spiders around at this time of the year and webs are everywhere but dont worry they are harmless ----- Just watch Big Mama doesn't jump out from a bush. Sorry only joking!!! Cheers Skylight
